Life Of Bushra Ansari

Bushra Ansari is a Pakistani television presenter, comedian, singer, actress and playwright. She was born on 15th May 1950 to father Ahmad Bashir a filmmaker and Mother Mehmooda Begum a journalist. Bushra married Iqbal Ansari a producer by profession in 1978. They also have two children, daughters named Nariman Ansari and Meera Ansari.bushra ansariBushra started her career as a child star in a children’s program “Kaliyon Ki Maala” 1965. She would play different characters acting and singing. She was taken under the mentorship of Amir Haidery to learn singing. Her father also encouraged her to participate in different singing competition and keep singing. Bushra Performed in “Kaliyan” on PTV in 1976. The Beginning

Her first tv play was “Rishtey Aur Rasstey” in 1978 directed by Iqbal Ansari. Later she moved to theater in Karachi. She got most popular with her sit-com 50- 50 as a comedian. In 1980s Bushra Ansari established herself as a singer and did parodies as well.bushra ansariBushra was introduced to the world as a writer with a drama called ‘Neeli Dhoop’ in 1994. What most people don’t know is that Bushra developed the story for her drama serial “Amawas” which was produced by her husband Iqbal Ansari. The Legacy
