Paresh Rawal was born on 30th May 1955 in a Gujarati family in Mumbai. He is an Indian film actor, thespian and politician. He is an alumnus of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Vile Parle, Mumbai. Paresh is married to Swaroop Sampat, an actress and winner of the Miss Indiacontest in 1979. His acting was a key reason for the major nationwide success the film received. For his performance, he won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award.
